Andrés Locsey is an Emmy and MPSE Golden Reel award-winning music editor working in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Guadalajara, México, Andrés received his degree in Music Production & Engineering in 2013 from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
Shortly after moving to L.A., Andrés had the opportunity to work with the team at Igloo Music Studios on the Academy Award-winning feature film Birdman. He honed his Pro Tools chops as a composer’s assistant, prepping and editing over 200 orchestral scores before immersing himself in music post-production.
Andrés is the music editor for the Emmy award-nominated shows Cobra Kai and PEN15, and the Annie award-winning, Children’s & Family Emmy Awards-winning, and MPSE Golden Reel award-nominated show Maya and the Three. He has also worked on feature films like Weird: The Al Yankovic Story and The Banker.
Andrés is a Motion Picture Editors Guild, IATSE Local 700 Member, and an amateur bonsai enthusiast.
